Welcome to my blog, and thanks for sharing.
The reason I did this is that my wife of 43 years, Chloe Hugill, loves flowers and gardening in general. On an average, she has to spend at least four hours in her garden daily. I have seen beautiful gardens around the world (she and I travel a lot), but her gardens are just as pretty as any I have seen anywhere.
We live in Campobello, SC, in the northeast corner of SC, in the foothills of the mountains. I, your humble author, am a retired plastic surgeon. I help her some in her gardens, but she is primarily responsible.
We moved here 8 years ago. And while in Florida, where I practiced, we were surrounded by friends, here we live a more private life.
As such, there are not many that know of her love and talent for gardening, and the outstandingly beautiful gardens she has created.
Every morning we take our coffees and walk her gardens and enjoy the changes as her gardens progress through the seasons.I have told her many times that I will do a blog of her gardens, so others may be aware of her love for gardening, and share with her the fruits of her talents and hard work. And so this is the beginning of my efforts in this regard.
I hope you enjoy, and thank you for sharing with Chloe her love for flowers and gardening.
John
John, the blog came out great. Now, let's see some serious high-def photos of the grounds and Chloe's art work.
